Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Northampton, PA. You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while enforcing access control procedures.

The role offers a part-time schedule with Tue 04:00 AM - 10:00 AM and Wed 04:00 AM - 10:00 AM shifts, and on-site training with opportunities for growth and benefits through our Perks Program.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by following site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain visitor logs.
• Control access for delivery vehicles and drivers, verify appointments, and communicate access concerns.
• Respond to access-related incidents calmly and document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking, loading docks, and the business perimeter.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
