As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Operations in Nazareth, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges to ensure the safety and security of our facilities.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Proficiency in monitoring and responding to alarm systems, ensuring prompt action in case of security breaches.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, as our security team often serves as the first point of contact for visitors and staff.

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and front‑desk logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
