Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry/exit as required.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents and access-related activities accurately and report to site leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and access-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
