Qualifications

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain entry records, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and effectively with site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized entry.
• Prepare reports and shift documentation about access activity, incidents, and patrol observations.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation regarding access activity, incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
