Qualifications

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support x-ray screening operations as needed. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service while communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and team members. Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized drivers, vendors, employees, and guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
