Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Access Control Console in Bethlehem, PA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor visitor activity to maintain a secure environment at a food and beverage production location.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, responding to incidents, patrolling access areas, and following hygiene and PPE protocols while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements where applicable.

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned access areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual conditions.
• Follow food facility hygiene, personal protective equipment, and restricted-area protocols while performing security duties.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
