Job Description

• Allied Universal is hiring for a Part-Time Security Officer.
• The site is a major automaker in Woodhaven, MI.
• The schedule is Saturday, 10PM-6AM, and Wednesday & Thursday, 2PM-10PM.
• The position starts at $17.90/hr, increasing to $18.99 after 90 days.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for more than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered.
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
