Responsibilities

• Deny access to unauthorized individuals and notify management or law enforcement as necessary
• Conduct regular inspections and use surveillance systems to identify potential concerns
• Respond promptly to incidents and perform emergency services when required
• Deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing by enforcing rules
• Create incident and activity reports with detailed observations
• Greet and identify all personnel entering the community
• Support property management with additional safety duties

The Dunbar team is looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Security Officer. In this role, you will help ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and the property.

As a Security Officer, you will:

• Deny access to unauthorized individuals and notify management or law enforcement as necessary
• Conduct regular inspections and use surveillance systems to identify potential concerns
• Respond promptly to incidents, conducting emergency services when necessary
• Deter theft, vandalism, and trespassing by enforcing rules and policies
• Digitally create incident and activity reports with detailed observations
• Greet and identify all personnel, contractors, and visitors entering the community
• Support property management with additional safety duties as assigned

You will be a great fit if you have the following skills:

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• The ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors during patrol
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as a part of a team

Scheduling:

• This is a Part-time position averaging 16-24 hours per week, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts when available
• Shifts may include evening, weekends, and holidays depending on site needs
