Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management in Wilmington, DE to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts and earn more.

This role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to build a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week, and the chance to work with a leading security provider while gaining customer service and access-control experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to parking facility patrons, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at assigned entry points, verify authorized credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to access-related incidents, parking facility concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, access points, entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter to identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Management in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Tue 12:00 AM - 09:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
