Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Front Desk Guest Services Security Officer in Alexandria, VA. You will greet guests, monitor access, and respond to security concerns, providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk or lobby area, greet and direct guests and visitors, and assist with access control and visitor management procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting hotel leadership and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, guest or visitor records, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
