Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for the Overnight Shift at our Mason, OH location. This full-time role provides front-line protection for Retail/Malls and other sites, with a steady night schedule and competitive pay.

You will deliver customer service, monitor alarms and dispatch systems, maintain logs and incident reports, and coordinate with on-site personnel and responders to ensure safety and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and dispatch systems; relay information to personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate communications from alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and other dispatch systems; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, maintenance concerns, and emergency requests in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity records in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Coordinate with on‑site personnel and emergency responders as needed, helping to support timely responses to incidents and critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
