Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol in Battleboro, NC. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to guests and staff.

The role is full-time, with pay at $16.00 per hour. Daily daytime shift hours are listed; strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure safety and a positive environment for diners and shoppers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Patrol in Battleboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and dining location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support guests, employees, and visitors through exceptional customer service and clear communication while reporting concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the restaurant, dining areas, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
