As a Security Officer - Overnight Full-Time in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help manage entry points, verify visitor credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor access in accordance with property procedures, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate property contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with maintaining a professional residential environment by enforcing access policies courteously and helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
