Mountaire Farms is seeking a Security professional to safeguard personnel and facilities at our Millsboro, DE operations. You will patrol, control access, and respond to emergencies while complying with safety policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in security or related fields, a clean driving record, and strong written and verbal communication skills. This full-time role requires adaptability to varying weather and long shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security, law enforcement or relevant military experience.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Protect Mountaire Farms personnel and property, patrolling areas from a fixed station, on foot or by vehicle.
• Control authorized access to company buildings and property.
• Respond to emergencies and be available for long hours as assigned.
• Work in all weather and temperatures, stand for extended periods (2–3 hours).
• Follow all safety policies and support the Goal Zero mission.

Responsible for facilitating a safe working environment for employees. Guard the personnel and property of Mountaire Farms against fire, theft, damage and destruction, pilferage, and/or malicious injury.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Protecting Mountaire Farms personnel and property, including patrolling areas from a fixed station, on foot or by vehicle.
• Control authorized access to company buildings and company property.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations that may require working long hours and additional days as assigned by the Security and Plant Services Manager or his/her designee.
• Must be able to work in all elements of weather and temperatures, walk and stand for extended periods of time (up to 2-3 hours at a time).
• Follow all Company safety policies, S.O.P. regulations, as well as support the Goal Zero mission statement. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational and safety needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement or relevant military experience is required.
• Acceptable Driving Record based on Mountaire's Non-Commercial Vehicle Policy and the ability to meet Mountaire Farms' requirements to operate a Company vehicle.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
