Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a Night Shift supervisor to ensure successful plant operations, aligning procedures, personnel, and resources to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals.

The role requires overseeing weekly staffing, SOPs, and compliance with food safety regulations, with focus on production metrics and continuous improvement. This position offers a hands-on leadership role in a large poultry operations environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Ag, Operations Management, Business).
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience across multiple departments.
• Experience with financial analysis in an operations setting (Agristats), HACCP knowledge.
• USDA sanitation and pre-operations guidelines familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly order fulfillment and staffing; develop improvement plans and SOPs/GPPs.
• Ensure product quality and packaging specs; identify trends and defects; training on food safety.
• Monitor area metrics: BPMH, Cost/lb, PPMH, A Grade %.
• Ensure HR/safety policies; verify Kronos and Fusion; oversee disciplinary actions; ensure training.

Education

Duties/Activities Required by Job

• Planning order fulfillment and accurate staffing assignments on a weekly basis. Developing improvement plans and ensuring goals and objectives are met. Developing and implementing SOP's and GPP's.
• Ensuring product quality and packaging specs are met. Identifying trends, product defects, and implementing improvement plans. Training and educating team on food safety regulations.
• Monitoring and ensuring area metrics are meant; BPMH, Cost/ lb., PPMH, A Grade %.
• Complying with HR/ Safety policies and procedures including; verifying Kronos and Fusion activity, overseeing disciplinary action process, ensuring safety and certification training is completed on time.

Educations/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preffered (Ag, Operations Management, Business)
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated supervisory/management, must include experience managing multiple departments, experience will be considered in lieu of degree, previous poultry experience preferred.
• Experience with Financial analysis in an operations setting (Agristats), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge and experience. USDA regulations on sanitation and pre-operations guidelines.
