Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Overnight in Gilbert, AZ to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. The role offers part-time hours with a fixed overnight schedule and a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

You will perform patrols, manage access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in security, familiarity with alarm panels and badge access, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Alarm panel and access control experience preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred and computer literacy is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees per security procedures.
• Conduct regular unaff armed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor and vendor entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, documented manner; notify appropriate personnel.
• Observe shipping and receiving, report facility issues, and help maintain access control.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, office, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor entry requirements, and maintain accurate security-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report damaged barriers, lighting concerns, or other facility conditions, and assist with maintaining orderly access throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
