As a Security Professional - Utilities Patrol Specialist in Fairmont, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a utilities environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to create a reassuring environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support positive interactions. Job Schedule:

Tue: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Fri: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sat: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
