Allied Universal has an opening for a Security Officer – Operation Center Flex in Phoenix, AZ. This part-time position provides reliable, scheduled hours with the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You’ll support customer service, incident response, patrols, and access control at a banking site. The role includes a fixed shift with six-month commitment, potential for additional shifts, and opportunities to grow toward full-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution, following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report/escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in line with site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Officer - Operation Center Flexin Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08:45 AM - 02:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
