Securitas, Inc. is hosting an in-person hiring event for Security Officer roles across multiple Seattle-area sites, including SeaTac. Attendees should bring a resume and wear business casual attire. The event runs Thursday 10/1 from 9am–12pm at 17930 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98118.

Wage ranges from $19.00 to $26.00 per hour. Candidates can expect interviews on-site with a limited daily capacity, and pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazards or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature for assigned site.

Time: Thursday, October 1st from 9am-12pm

Job Site Locations: Seattle / Parkland / Tukwila / Kent / Tacoma / Bonney Lake / Fife / Bellevue / Sumner / Anacortes / Bremerton, WA

Wage: $19.00-$26.00/Hour

DISCLOSURE: TO maintain a quality hiring experience, our team can only accommodate a maximum of 12-15 interviews per day. We appreciate the understanding of candidates who may need to return on another day if capacity has been reached.

What Your Day May Look Like

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
