Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hosting an in-person security officer hiring event in SeaTac, WA. Walk-ins are welcome; bring an updated resume and wear business casual attire.

Interview window is 9am–12pm on Thursday, September 17th. Wages range from $19.00 to $26.00 per hour across multiple site locations in WA. Positions cover Parkland, Anacortes, Seattle, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Bonney Lake, Bremerton, Fife, Tukwila, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to pass pre-employment screening.
• High school diploma or GED required, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• At least 1 year of security and 1 year of customer service experience.
• Good conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to conduct patrols during a shift and remain vigilant.
• Basic computer/tech skills.
• Willing to participate in background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Hiring Event Location: 17930 International Blvd, Suite 550, SeaTac, WA 98118

Time: Thursday, September 17th, from 9am-12pm

Wage: $19.00-$26.00/Hour

Job Site Locations: Parkland / Anacortes / Seattle / Bellevue / Lynnwood / Bonney Lake / Bremerton / Fife / Tukwila, WA

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years security & 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
