Job summary

Securitas USA is hosting an in-person Hiring Event for Security Officers in the Seattle area. Attendees should bring a current resume and wear business casual attire. Interviews will be conducted at 17930 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98118, with walk-in slots during the event on Thursdays (Sept 3 & Sept 10) from 9am to 12pm.

Wage ranges from $19.00 to $26.00 per hour. Roles cover multiple sites including Sumner, Tacoma, Parkland, Bonney Lake and more across WA.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years security & 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
