Securitas USA is hosting an in-person hiring event for Security Officers at 17930 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98118. Walk-ins welcome. Bring a resume and business casual attire.

Interviews limited to 12–15 per day, with site locations across WA including Seattle and Bellevue. Wage ranges from $19.00 to $26.00 per hour, with benefits and paid training. Applicants should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and at least 1 year in security and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• 1+ years security experience.
• 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must conduct patrols during a shift.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate potential issues.
• Secure entrances and exits at client premises.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside in various weather conditions.
• Interact with client employees and guests frequently.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazards.
• Preserve evidence or scene of incidents for investigations.
• Set up barriers and provide directions as needed.

Time: Thursday, September 17th, from 9am-12pm

Wage: $19.00-$26.00/Hour

Job Site Locations: Parkland / Anacortes / Seattle / Bellevue / Lynnwood / Bonney Lake / Bremerton / Fife / Tukwila, WA

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years security & 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
