Job summary

Oklahoma Military Department is seeking a Temporary Police Officer to safeguard National Guard facilities at Tulsa ANG Base. Duties include patrols, access control, dispatch, and enforcing regulations. Position requires CLEET license and a background check.

Essential functions cover emergency response, investigations, and coordination with federal/state agencies. The role is part-time and located on the Tulsa ANG Base with mandatory shift work.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in security or law enforcement work.
• Hold a CLEET license.
• Contingent on favorable background checks and medical screening.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and inspect assigned areas to deter crime and hazards.
• Perform entry control, greet visitors, relay messages and provide directions.
• Enforce parking/traffic rules, issue citations and prepare reports.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement, fire and medical agencies.
• Investigate possible illegal activities or incidents; assist motorists with disabled vehicles.
• Secure facilities, raise/lower base flags, and support security personnel.
• Participate in in-service training and attend specialty schools.
