Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for multiple client sites in Vernon Hills, IL and surrounding areas. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe environment. Flexible shifts and weekly pay are offered.

Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $22.00 per hour with full benefits including medical and more. A strong focus on integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness guides the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification provided.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

The Multi Site Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
