Securitas USA seeks a Security Officer for multi-site coverage in Dekalb, IL, with a wage range of $21.00-$22.00 per hour and weekly pay. The role involves patrolling, access control, and responding to emergencies to protect people and assets at different client sites.

Flexible schedules include 3rd shift and other shifts, with substantial benefits and training. The officer will interact with client staff and guests, enforce safety protocols, and use security technology to monitor premises.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and remain calm during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Driver certified and completion of pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Patrol premises and monitor access at multiple client sites.
• Protect people, property, and assets while maintaining a safe environment.
• Identify and report safety issues or any suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver certified.
• Must be available to work 3rd shift and one other shift - open availability preferred.
