Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a flexible Security Officer for multi-site coverage with a primary site in Portland, OR. You will patrol premises, control access, monitor systems, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

This role requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• At least 6 months security experience.
• Ability to work independently with excellent customer service.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and vigilant.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid judgement and escalation.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

The Flex Security Officer provides security at various client sites by protecting people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have at least 6 months previous security experience.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
