Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security professional to help safeguard our properties and reassure residents and guests through vigilant service.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, and a Saturday/Sunday 7am–3pm plus Thursday/Friday 3pm–11pm schedule. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, with occasional travel for training.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

As a Security professional, you are amongst some of the most valued associates at our properties.Your presence and knowledge reassure bothresidents and guests that the safety and security of the property is being properly cared for by a dedicated and detail-oriented associate.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
• Accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
• Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Following safety procedures and strive to maintain a safe work environment.
• Patrol, walk property, and gatehouse.
• Report all property violations .

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function
• Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and finger

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm & Thursday & Friday 3pm-11pm.

What We Offer

As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation

$20.00 -$22 per hour based on experience.
