Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami, FL is seeking a Security professional to join our property teams. You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and help maintain a safe environment for residents and guests.

The role is part-time, non-exempt, with a Florida Class D security license, valid driver’s license, ability to handle sensitive information, and willingness to work Wednesdays through Sundays 6am-2:30pm.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
• Accurately maintain daily logs, records, and forms.
• Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Following safety procedures and strive to maintain a safe work environment.
• Patrol, walk property, and gatehouse.
• Report all property violations .

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function
• Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and finger

Schedule: Wednesdays through Sundays 6a-230pm (Monday and Tuesdays off)

What We Offer

As a part-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits to include dental and vision. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation

$19.00 -$20.00 per hour
