Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobility Patrol in Omaha, NE to monitor retail environments and deter incidents while providing excellent customer service. This role emphasizes visibility, access control, and professional communication in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or contractors while following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in retail areas, parking lots, entrances, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and events.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobility Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
