Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $27.00 - $28.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify designated site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
