Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of distribution center buildings, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, and hazards with detailed incident reports.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution center buildings, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, and potential hazards while maintaining detailed, accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
