Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a dynamic team as a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Harbeson, DE. This part-time role lets you build a flexible schedule while protecting clients at a food and beverage site and maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.
