Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Garner, NC. You will safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sectors and support a flexible security program while driving to assignments.

A valid driver’s license is required; X-Ray screening and customer service experience are preferred. You will patrol, monitor access, document incidents, and use our Shift platform to claim additional shifts.

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and communicate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior/exterior areas and report observations.
• Complete required reports and incident documentation per procedures.

This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support a professional workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
