Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Bristol, IN. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while following site policies and responding to incidents.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour. Duties include monitoring access points, reporting events, and upholding safety and professionalism across technology, media, and telecom

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Prepare clear reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and concerns for leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
