Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for Bristol, IN, to protect clients across technology, media and telecom locations. You will perform regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with orderly entry and exit processes.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
