Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigations as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report hazards or violations to site contacts.
• Complete incident reports and logs accurately per Allied Universal procedures.

Job Schedule

• Wed 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• A Guard Card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
