Job Description

As a Security Officer - Media Patrol in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Your role is essential in supporting a caring culture that puts people first and values teamwork and innovation.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.41 / Hour

Job Schedule

DayTime

Mon 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Wed 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Thur 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Fri 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology, media, and telecom location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
