As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols during incidents.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Texas Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
