Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, CA is seeking a Security Officer Mall Center Mobile Driver who will patrol, deter incidents, and provide excellent service to tenants and visitors at a premier retail location. This full-time overnight role requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include routine unarmed patrols of common areas, access control, incident reporting, and assisting guests, with shifts Sunday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, garages, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and adherence to property rules and posted regulations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

What You'll Do:
