M&S Washington Galleries SF is hiring a Security Officer to help create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism and take pride in delivering great service while protecting people, stores and products.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive mindset and the ability to respond quickly to incidents, with use of store technology and body-worn cameras.

Competenze

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.
• All candidates must be able to provide a 5-year checkable work history within the UK.

Join M&S as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues.

This isn't just a security role, it's a role for people who stay calm under pressure, lead with professionalism and take pride in delivering great service while protecting our stores, people and products.

We're looking for confident, customer-focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm and approachable attitude. You'll be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while playing an important role in keeping the business safe and secure.
