As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol - Part Time in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will conduct routine patrols primarily by vehicle, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. DayTime Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and/or site needs.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
