Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in North Bergen, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role is focused on supporting a secure environment through teamwork and a caring approach.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support a secure environment by maintaining a visible presence and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
