Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Logistics Center in Tualatin, OR. You will protect a fast-paced logistics and distribution site, performing routine patrols, monitoring access points, and delivering courteous customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity records per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building perimeters, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Observe shipping and receiving activity, report irregularities, and support orderly traffic flow for delivery vehicles and personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Center in Tualatin, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that works together with integrity.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
