As a Security Officer - Lobby Patrol in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Front Desk professional, you will be stationed at the main entry point, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. You will utilize computer or tablet systems as part of your daily responsibilities. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working together with integrity to create a welcoming environment at the location.

Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and assist with visitor management.
Maintain detailed records of security-related incidents and daily activities.
Communicate with management and emergency personnel as needed to address issues or concerns.

Minimum Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
