Allied Universal® in Malvern, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Lobby Desk Driver to welcome visitors, verify IDs, manage access, and support driving duties when needed at a financial institution.

You will deliver strong customer service, monitor lobby activity, and assist with incident response while maintaining a professional, secure environment. This role requires a valid license and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required by Allied Universal policy.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location within a financial institution.
• Control access by greeting and directing visitors, issuing temporary badges, confirming identification and/or appointments, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs per site requirements.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and report irregular conditions or policy violations through established notification and escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Complete routine administrative duties such as answering phones, processing deliveries, documenting incidents and compiling shift activity reports using required report-writing systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience – preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet – preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
