GardaWorld Security Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer. You’ll monitor security systems, spot threats, and document incidents across environments such as security operations centers and access points.

Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:15am–5:30pm, Sat 8:15am–1:30pm. Pay: $18.00/hr with DailyPay. Uniform provided.

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Stable work history and reliable transportation required.
• Own equipment and weapon handling as specified by license.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and cameras to detect suspicious activity.
• Document events with detailed reports.
• Respond promptly to incidents or threats.
• Conduct regular patrols and control access to secure areas.
• Collaborate with law enforcement as needed.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

Responsibilities Of Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Level 3 Armed Security License
• Ability to provide own equipment(Weapon, Duty Belt, 2 pairs of cuffs and 2 non lethal items)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with no restriction B and clean driving record
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
• Computer Skills/ Social Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry)
• Ability and willingness to work at odd hours and under pressure
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
