WHAT WE PROVIDE:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a State of Texas Level II licensed Security Officer, you will maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, volunteers, lessees, and all guests of Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Responsibilities include providing in-park security patrols, responding to security incidents, screening guests at the front gate, and completing assignments given by Security management.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

• Secure gates by checking, logging, and clearing authorized personnel and vehicles with proper identification or passes.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of information.
• Respond to security incidents on park property.
• Write clear and concise reports.
• Enforce laws on the property.
• Safeguard assets, property, and facilities.
• Perform traffic control, vehicle, and bike patrols.
• Work with law enforcement personnel.
• Serve as dispatch operator as needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by management.
• Follow park policies at all times.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Texas Level II Security License or ability to obtain one (free training).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in hot weather.
• Willingness to perform foot and bike patrols.
• Ability to climb a 50’ tower.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, able to multi-task, reliable, and dependable.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexible/rotating shifts, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Available to work at least 3 days during summer, including one weekend.

OTHER NOTES:

• May perform additional duties as necessary.
• Reports to Public Safety Department Leadership.
