Job Description

• The Position is for a Full Time Level 2 Security Fire Officer. The position starts at $18.50/hr. Candidates must successfully complete Level 2 Training, such as Confined Space Rescue, Incipient Fire Fighting, Hazardous Materials Training, etc. The site is a major automaker in Dearborn, MI.
• Firefighter 1 & 2 Certification preferred.

• Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of Professional Security Fire Officer.

As a Professional Security Fire Officer, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client’s property and personnel, knowing all site-specific policies and procedures, and implementing emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to deal with personnel and the public professionally.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
• This is a driving position: valid driver’s license, at least one year driving experience, a clean driving record, and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, and stand or walk for long periods.
