Position Overview

As a Security Lead, you will oversee the security team’s daily duties, coordinate efforts to ensure safety, and communicate with leadership on officer development and processes.

Safety & Security Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Post-secondary education in security, law enforcement, or criminal justice preferred.

Experience

  • At least 3+ years of customer service experience with conflict resolution, or
  • 2+ years of direct patient contact in a Level I trauma center, or
  • 2+ years of law enforcement/military experience, especially in confrontational situations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to build positive relationships within the organization.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and infection control standards.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Licensure/Certification

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Qualified to operate hospital vehicles.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 3 months of hire.
