Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to manage jail tower access control in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor areas, patrol perimeters, deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding client service in a dynamic, collaborative setting.

We value reliability and flexibility. A minimum of one year in security, alarm panel familiarity, and comfort with basic tech are preferred. Part-time shifts include weekend coverage and access to Allied Universal perks.

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat: 06:45 AM - 07:00 PM, Sun: 06:45 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
